TORONTO -- The Toronto Argonauts battered receiving corps has taken another hit. Argos head coach Scott Milanovich said Wednesday rookie Anthony Coombs suffered a torn labrum in Torontos 31-5 road win over Montreal on Friday night. Coombs was in the starting lineup replacing veteran Canadian slotback Andre Durie, who is out with a broken clavicle. Coombs, a 21-year-old Winnipeg native, will undergo further evaluation to determine if he requires surgery. Should Coombs have to go under the knife, hed likely be done for the remainder of the season. If not, hell still require time on the injured list but could return later in the campaign. Coombs has 22 catches for 214 yards this season while rushing for 75 yards on eight carries. Its been a rough season thus far for Toronto receivers. Joining Durie on the injured list are veterans Chad Owens (foot) and Jason Barnes (knee). Milanovich also said linebacker Nick Williams sustained a season-ending knee injury versus Montreal.
