It was his second straight start for the Jets; he suffered a 1-0 loss against Minnesota Monday. So this season Hutchinson has now won games in the ECHL, AHL and NHL. He was perfect three- for-three in the shootout to nail down the win. In his two starts he has stopped 48-of-50 shots, for a .960 save percentage. The only goal of the first period was scored by Brad Marchand at 10:12. Bostons best chance was a breakaway by Jerome Iginla, but Hutchinson made the save. Shots were 12-6 Jets. At 25:43 it was the 21st time this season Jacob Trouba has led the Jets in ice time while Evander Kane with seven shots on goal led in that department.? Little won 15-of-23 face-offs. Hutchinson was named the games first star and admitted in a post-game interview on TSN Jets that the win was extra special because it came against the team that drafted him. “Its a team that let me go, plus I know a lot of guys on that team.” On the win, “I want to show I can play at this level. I felt determined and relaxed.” Coach Paul Maurice on his goaltender: “He read those seams perfectly, his push was perfect.
